The McKnight International Scheduler will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of construction projects. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various teams, and monitoring progress to meet project deadlines. The Scheduler will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for scheduling.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, proposing solutions to ensure timely completion.
- Regularly update and communicate project schedules to relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize project management software to manage and analyze construction timelines.
- Assist in resource allocation and optimization to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in CPM scheduling, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of construction project management and scheduling principles.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scheduling information to various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex project data and provide actionable insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and build positive working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in scheduling data.
- Excellent time management skills to oversee multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass all Background Clearances.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in various physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, and driving in an automobile, and may require walking and standing on irregular and uneven surfaces in an industrial setting.
- The performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, and hearing protection is required.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
Schedule:
- Flexible part-time schedule, with the possibility of increased hours based on project needs.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).
Salary: The compensation for this position is contingent upon both your geographical location and your level of experience.
