The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Morgan Center for Research and Innovation represents a significant design-build initiative situated atop an existing parking garage. This new glass-encased facility will encompass ten stories dedicated to research and laboratory functions, a second floor exclusively designated for lectures, conferences, and collaboration spaces. The lower levels are also intended to incorporate retail opportunities and outdoor areas to foster engagement with the surrounding community. McKnight has provided essential oversight in project scheduling and cost estimation, including the formulation of detailed Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. These schedules facilitated the design and construction phases of the seven-story building and the two interconnected six-story structures. By ensuring adherence to both timeline and budgetary objectives, McKnight played a pivotal role in the successful execution of this project.
